Session Fees and Insurance Information

Insurance

I do not take insurance. I am an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. This means you will be charged the full session fee at the time of your appointment.

I will then provide you with documentation/ SuperBills (itemized medical receipts) for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Each insurance company/plan has different reimbursement rates.
See below for how to navigate out-of-network coverage

Session Cost

Each session is $160 per 50 minute session.

In-person and virtual sessions are the same rate.

How to Determine Out of Network Coverage

On the back of your insurance card, there should be a benefits phone number. Call and provide them with the CPT Billing codes below and inquire about your out-of-network deductible, any co-insurance, or copays for which you are responsible.

CPT Billing Code: 90837

Other helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:

  • What are my mental health benefits?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?

  • How much does my insurance pay for an Out-of-Network provider?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

  • How do I submit my medical receipts for reimbursement?

Simple Payment Options and Insurance Assistance

Clients are responsible for payment of the session fee at the time of the session, which can be made by credit card or HSA/FSA cards. Your card information is securely stored in your client portal, and all billing documents are easily accessible to you for your convenience.

I am dedicated to helping you navigate the insurance process and maximize your benefits to receive the care you deserve. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding billing or insurance.

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your health care will cost. Thanks to the No Surprises Act passed in 2021 by Congress, patients now know how much their treatment will cost with no surprises. Just as it should be!
