Meet Samantha
I am a board-certified licensed mental health counselor. My work with clients is goal-oriented and focused on recognizing and utilizing strengths to achieve positive change.
I started Samantha Swift Counseling with the goal of providing a safe space for working through uncomfortable emotions, complicated relationships and difficult experiences to achieve positive change.
How I Help
In my practice, I incorporate concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an. approach that examines the intricate relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. By understanding how these elements interact, we can work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to feelings of anxiety, depression, and other challenging emotions.
Our collaborative work will center around fostering resilience and developing effective coping skills tailored to your unique experiences. Whether you're facing overwhelming stress, feelings of sadness, or simply navigating life's uncertainties, my goal is to help you cultivate a toolkit of strategies that empower you to manage these symptoms more effectively.
I offer sessions that can be conducted either in-person or virtually, ensuring flexibility to accommodate your needs. In-person sessions take place at my welcoming office located in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, providing a serene and supportive environment for our work. For those who prefer the convenience of remote sessions, I utilize a HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure your privacy and comfort.
